Hello Forum Members,
I am Captain Ron D, and have been in boating for 45 years. I recently acquired a 2007 Mainship 400 'Seas the Moment'. It is a beauty and I am very happy with the boat, albeit I have to learn an entirely new boat from the keel up. I hope to 'lean' on some of you that are familiar with the Mainship, as I stumble through the introductory phase.
To start with I have two questions for you members.
1. I plan on putting my dinghy (Caribe C10X) on the swim platform on the transom. Does anyone have any experience with using any of the 'Pull-on' type dinghy ramps? I have been looking at several different makes and could use some guidance.
2. I have not been able to find the 'on' switch for the two flood lights that are mounted on the mast cross member. Nothing is labeled on the power panels, nothing is noted in the Mainship manual, and the prior owner is out of town. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks and wishing all of you a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year.
