Hoping this before pic will come through. If not, I'll keep trying.

This pic is on the day of closing about 5 weeks ago. The beauty standing in front is 4 time Miss Florida, my daughter.

Before & after in one photo...the black line is before shoveling snow, and the photo was taken after shoveling.

The black line is diesel fuel leaking from several boats which sunk after we got seven feet of snow in two days + the road to the marina was close for a couple days + the power was out for three days.

Takes a bunch of weight to sink a 30' boat that much

Three years and after countless hours and boat bucks our project list is down to a couple but the results have been very satisfying. Here is the outside at least, before and after.

101Tug, is that a synthetic teak material you used on your flybridge?

These pics are fabulous. There are good looking boats out there!

My 'before and afters' from both the boat and it's engine.

Regards,

Thom

A relatively minor one, but getting rid of the biggest eyesore on my bridge was still rewarding.

101Tug: Nice setup. Where did you get the hand hold loops for the ladder? It doesn't look like part of the ladder.

I don't have one of the boat, but I've been working out.

Lotta dark roast suntan lotion too ...
Am I on the right thread?

I designed this ladder and one company from Trinidad made for us during our refit some years ago.

The handle go on 2 tubes welded on ladder and lock with pin

Good idea, where due you stow them when the ladder is flipped up?

I love everything about this thread!

Matt from Oz will have the ultimate before and after.
Meanwhile .......

We upgraded from a 9' Livingston dinghy to a plastic Whaly 310, but it was too heavy to lift on the modified Weaver Snap Davits by hand..I had to put a small hand cranked boat winch on a boom to lift it. Side benefit is that the boom supports a tarp during rainy weather (handy for drinking water supplementation) and shade for our dog during sunny weather. Me-thinks it didn't hurt Badger's looks at all, either.

Badger looks good! !

Ours is exciting for us, probably barely noticeable for you guys. Before and after loading 200 gallons of diesel. We had a truck come by since the diesel pump has been out of commission at our marina for a while now.

Very well thought out, Tug. I really like the idea that your ladder pivots so tightly against the back of the boat, one of the advantages of having a near plumb transom. It's out of the way unless you need it.

By the way, please stop blanking out the attractive topless models climbing the ladder. :socool::)
