How many nights a year do you sleep on your boat?

I am hate to admit last year it was less than 12.

This year we will do better-- I hope!

JohnP

We did 70 in 2009 about 90 last year, will do about 60 this trip we are on maybe another 20 during the rest of 2011

2008 and 2009 we averaged 120 nights a year, most of those anchored out with a few @ the dock. Most of 2010 we were boatless so not so many nights last year though still probably 20-30 nights...most of those at the dock working on the boat!
2011....hope to have our usual 120 nights or so for the year!

for me sleeping ,somewhere else than my boat is a treat. Don't think that i don't like sleeping on my boat but when you live aboard you appreciate it, once in a while.

We probably spend +/- 125 nights/year, and love every minute of it.

I think I am going to shoot for over 50 in 2011!*** Now I*have a goal.* I better start planing a trip or two.

Being a live aboard we sleep on it every night.**Sleep on a boat*is better than*sleeping on the dirt anyday.* I probable screwed up you voting.*

******** Phil Fill,** No worries I think I am the curve breaker on this one.** I figured out we live too close to our dock.* It is too easy to go back and forth.

For several years, we were able to spend about ninety nights a year on the boat, but work life now makes it more like 25. Damn work!!!

About 60 nights +/-

Most of late spring, summer and early fall.... about 120 - but never enough!

Last year over 50 on the houseboat, this year hoping to move aboard the Vantare around June so hopefully over 150.

Every Friday and Saturday, be it at our marina or cruised out somewhere, adds up to 104.* Not sure we spend enough other nights to hit 200 but definitely in the 150 range.

62 nights on the boat last year, but I was still working. This year will approach 100 for the boat. I've been in the motorhome for the past 109, with a couple or three weeks until we get home again.

From the end of April until early November we're onboard every Friday and Saturday night. Throw in a few three day weekends and a week or two cruising and it winds up around 65. We'll be starting again in a little over a month

Yes. Exactly.
Still a working slob, and now with only about 2 weeks vaca per year, we are down to about 75 days per season.
That sucks, but on the good side when at home we sleep on a water bed.
So I guess in summation we sleep on a water bed all year....

We accomplish sleep aboard 45 to 50 nigths annually, nearly 100% on the hook! When one business sells - plan to push 150/200 nights annual... Maybe more - still near 100% on the hook! YEAH!!! - Art

Last year every night for 8 mos (Winterered South) except two weeks off over the Holidays. This year 12-50 provided the snow finally melts!

We spent 30 nights sleeping on our boat and 30 days fixing all the things that were busted.

*I get a 10 for that one.

I feel....well...very unslept.... for want of a better word. I fell into the < 12 category for this last year..... pretty lonely down here....* The irony is, I've never spent more on the thing getting her up to scratch than I have this year.* What does that say....?

It means your trawler may be cheating on you! *You never spend the night with her, yet she takes all your money. *

"J-O-B which S-U-C-K-S" - Just about sums it up - on the other hand, it's the job which makes it all possible in the first place...which also sucks...'cause what happens when the job goes....? Here's hoping...
