[Slowboat 37]

The boat is coming out of the water this Friday for the usual bottom paint, zincs and to shine her up. I have a ten inch orbital that turns at 3200 rpms. I thought the buffer/sander type had a higher rpm rating, that's what I see the so called pros using. After doing some shopping on line they are no faster, and heavier. What is the group using and why. I don't need the sander part and I don't want to pay a couple of hundred for it.
