I've got a bridle that was made from Amsteel (supplied by our Pau Hana).
Unfortunately the individual that made it was supposed to make it 6" shorter that the old one. Well turns out it's now 6" longer.
So I'm hoping to have it modified while I'm here in Ft. Myers. Does anyone have a lead on who can do this?

Do you mean you want to shorten the length of the Amsteel portion of the bridle by 6"? If so, Amsteel is very easy to splice.

Is it a tow bridle or a lifting bridle?

It's a lifting bridle.
Because of the 6" extension i need to remove 12" to get where I want.

Easy to splice - plenty of videos on the net........

Or just tie knots in the line until it is a foot shorter.

Thanks for the comments but when my 700# dink is hanging over my forward railing I'd like to feel comfortable.
I'll gladly pay for someones experience.

I have used this guy and was very pleased. You may have to take it to him or he may have a job in your area.
