With our mastheads shining bright through the fog and mist of night.

We seek to calm the raging seas with tales of others heroic deeds.

Trawler forum is beset with topics serious and in jest.

Will Eric ever solve his quest to find the anchor that is best.

Marin and his lengthley post are words of wisdom for the most.

Wood song with his posts of jest as he plys the Tennessee.*

*Will his trawler ever see the salty brine of the sea.

Will we see Marks Coot splash or are there questions yet to hash.

John Baker in the Fly'n low. The forum is his finest show.

Walt in the Seahorse II with his hull of darkened hew.

Old stone with his boats a plenty how do you manage with so many.

What do you know Daddyo Is your trader *good to go?

Tonic *what a pretty boat one of the finest seen afloat.

So many boats and there are plenty.

*Can't name them all gotta be three* twenty.

If I left you out please don't pout.
*
Add a line and chime in time.

*let's make the forum really rhyme.

By the looks of Skipperdude's boat
He may go a shrimpin'
Don't know how many ladies are on board
Although I know he's a pimpin'.
Charles knows about those shrimp
Where he's from, they're jumbo
While his lovely wife Pat cooks up a mean gumbo.
I know Phil/Fill is around
He said he saw a bear
He was digging through his locker
Wondering what shoes to where
FF is around just give him a holler
I am willing to bet, he can build you a boat for a dollar!!!
Don't worry about Don Moon if he is traveling by land...
If not, then you will likely find him on his favorite Island

...continue....:)

What a hoot,

There ya go Mr baker.

I didn't know you had it in you.

Lets see how many more poet laureate's we have on the forum.

Holy cow gents*** ...and I thought anchor talk was fun.
Who was it that said we come together here for information and knowledge?
There's plenty else here and more to come.
Wonderful stuff*** ....glad your'e shar'in.

Hey Skipperdude, your words are quite pithy,
in fact methinks they are makings of a real wordsmithy,
a skill no doubt honed while out on your own,
trying to bring some damn pesky crabs home......
Already you show sign of emerging philosopher, now, would you know it,
you would have all of us poet....

On this forum we have owners of various boats,
thin boats and fat boats and big boats and small,
but of the subjects most likely to cause us to brawl,
are anchors, engines and helm stations and all.

Off the deep end is aptly named,
some fairly smart dudes have been unceremoniously tamed,
one is warned not to enter if of any weakness of heart,
but sometimes the repartee makes me laugh 'til I f**t.

I'll now hand over to someone more able,
I'm sure there are some out there from a true poet's stable,
I'll now visit frig to take up a beer,
so someone else's efforts we can all cheer.....

How 'bout this forum?
Ain't it dandy?
Some of the knowledge
really comes in handy!

What have I done.
*I've brought out the poet in more than just one.

*If you have a short verse.
*it can even be terse.

Fear not to share.
for no one will care.

Dispense with decorum.
*This is Trawler Forum.

Some of the rigs are pure eye candy.

I read it each and every day.

It's where*us boaters talk and play.

I can't imagine life without it.

I guess I could but I really doubt it.

*I thought we may have a few more poets about.

Tiz boating for pleasure and boating for fun
Then boating for travel or boating to RUN!
Ray all boating reasons there be Captains to serve
And in all boating seasons most Captains need nerve
Our Admirals play first hand, and galley, and mate
Each Admiral serves proudly ensuring her Captains fate
So as we all cruise smiling toward Float-Heaven galore
We should each to the other be thankful for sure!
*
Thank you , Dave... For*a thread that will endure!
