Looking for info on fox island 42

The friendliest place on the web for anyone who enjoys boating.

First of all Im a newbie and posted this in the wrong category the first time sorry. We are looking at trawlers and come across a Fox Island 40 or 42, sometimes called a Legare Fox Island. The only info we have been able to find is on Yacht World. If anyone could shed some light on these boats it would be helpful

Never even heard of it but then not all boats got up into my neck of the woods. Lots were made in very small numbers and sold in a limited area.

In many cases the same hull and cabin were rebranded by different sellers .

A few photos might help some of us to recognize the builder, not seller, even if the boat was called something else.
 
Made in Canada. A few for sale in Yacht World. Normal single screw. Appear to be heavily made . Nice lines. Google and YouTube it.
