Hi All,

I have the largest Timber Halvorsen ever constructed coming to be my neighbour for a month this coming week. She is approx. 92 feet. I will get some photo's this weekend if she arrives as scheduled. When launched in the 70's she was capable of 30 something knots I am told.
I will get some particulars and post them here next week.

Cheers Chris D Liberty

Don't forget a picture of the fridge...just as a benchmark reference for Halvorsen yachts.

Yeh they have a certain ice chest look about them is that what you mean ?

Hi David,

Will confirm the Horse power , but I think they are V16's . Here in Sydney we used to have Hydrofoil Ferry's on the Harbour , apparently they are the same engines. The same Family has owned it since it was launched in the mid 70's .
Her days of doing that speed are over , but boy is she a nice looking vessel.

Cheers Chris D Liberty

We had a guy here with a Halvorsen 32 Gourmet Cruiser who got ripped up one side and down the other for having an empty fridge when going out on a day trip. (OK, I might have had something to do with that.) He made amends by the next time we went out, though.

The ribbing started here...

That ribbing was recently resurrected on this thread...

Actually, the classic Halvorsen interior pic is the mirrored drop front cocktail cabinet.

Al, that is just too cryptic. Can you give some better clues to the identity of the offending party?
