Cummins mechanic near St. Pete?

The port engine in my boat needs major surgery.

It is a naturally aspirated Cummins 4B / 3.9 circa 1999.

Need a Cummins aware mechanic in / near St. Petersburg, FL.

Engine has to be removed and long block replaced.

I can supply all parts but I need someone competent who can do the work.

Any suggestions? All thoughts appreciated.

Head mechanic: Mike

Dead solid reliable and honest. The service I got from them was on Perkins and Lehman. If they can't handle the Cummins job they'll tell you, though I'd expect them to be able to do it. I recommend them without reservation.

Ron Jago of Unlimited Yacht Services. He replaced a Cummins 330 long block for me 2 years ago. He's wrote articles for boatdiesel.com and pals around with Tony Athens.
