Fab Dock comments?

The friendliest place on the web for anyone who enjoys boating.
If you have answers, please help by responding to the unanswered posts.
From the posted pic, I thought it was a fender to lie along the dock edge, looked interesting, checked the site, it is really a double sided complete "berth/slip within a berth/slip",costing from $9990. Presumably, dock bow in or the props eat it, first time in.

Egad...$9,900.00 would be for a 15' boat

For the price of one for a 30' boat you could install bow and stern thrusters, have money to go on a holiday, and have confidence entering any slip, not only your own.

I don't see the use myself.

For little boats like the one pictured Mooring Whips will cost a couple hundred dollars and keep the boat from rubbing on the dock.

Those things are more for preventing marine growth and act as an antifoul I think you'll find - not really meant as a Rolls Royce fender system, although would do that as well.
