My wife and I are approaching the point in life where a part time live aboard could make sense. We have a whole lot to learn, so looking forward to moving up the learning curve via this forum
Currently have homes in Florida and North Carolina, so trying to ask ourselves the right questions and ascertain exactly what we are looking for in a boat/lifestyle. Probably spend most of the time on the Gulf Coast from Houston to the Keys, the Bahamas, then up to Charleston. Mostly hanging around close to shore. In other words, no ocean crossings (other than across to Bahamas in good weather). I understand boat draft and height are important considerations.
