Goofy question for a boating forum, but here goes.* My daughter wants to get her father a license plate frame for his truck (for Christmas) that has some catchey boating phrase.* Any of you have any ideas?* And no I don't think "I''d rather be boating/sailing" is a good one.

Hiya,
** My other truck is a boat
** Chevy's don't float
** 10*30'S 105*40'E* (Look it*up) (the * are degrees)

I have seen "I'd rather be trawling" somewhere. Wouldn't mind one of those:)

Steve,
"I'd rather be trawling" has some bad conotations down our way.
Lookin for hookers etc.

Hiya,
** Mr./Ms. Rocky.* Didn't look it up yet?** 10*30'S* 105*40'E....Christmas Island.* A bit too obscure perhaps.

Thanks everyone, some great ideas. RT...very clever!!!

I think the word "trolling" is the one with the bad connotations, i.e, trolling for hookers. Should be pretty safe with trawling.

Steve,

You may have seen it on our vehicles. Paula gave them to me for Christmas a few years ago. It says "I'd Rather Be Trawlering". If anyone is interested I can ask her where she got them.

Oh but you can get a THONG that says I'd rather be Trawlering... LOL.

I saw a lincense plate frame last night that said "Getta outta my way, I'm going to Bingo"--that could be modified to fit with boating, trolling, trawlering,*whatever...*

Ken,
You are right- that's where I saw it:)
