Just bought a 34' 1972 marine trader it sat uncovered for 3 years any suggestions on how to battle the mold I'm shrink wrapping her next week

Welcome Aboard! Bleach diluted in water should take it off. Low humidity keeps it off.
Some of our more Northern members can comment on mildew and shrink wrap.

Vinegar is good for killing mold spores also. It can be in a watery mix and still work ok.

Be sure the shrink wrap has vents installed so that air circulates.
When we were northerners and had our 36 foot boat wrapped we asked for 4 vents. Be sure to ask for a zippered door as well so you can get onboard through the shrink wrap for occasional inspection. Howard

X2. And the more vents, the better.

But be prepared for some mold to grow inside over the winter no matter how much of it you get rid of, and how dry you get the boat inside, before covering.

The best way IMHO to cover a boat would be to use canvas, or some other material that "breathes", rather than shrink wrap. We used to do this with our old wooden boat and mold was a minor issue. You can re-use such a cover for many years. A more substantial frame usually is required, but that can also be re-used. More expensive initially, but environmentally responsible.

Having said that, we use shrink wrap now.
