I just endured 80km gusts in Toronto this past week. We are expecting 100km gusts tomorrow.

Greetings,
Mr. k. OK, so it was windy and your boat survived. You're a young man living downtown (I assume) in one of the most vibrant cities in North America, you're a yacht owner and it's dark. WHERE ARE THE DANCING GIRLS?????

The winter picture looks downright dismal. We visited Lake Tahoe one winter and the marina had boats covered in snow. It was like bein' in a cemetery.
