And the admrial wonders why I spend so much time at the harbor.

She used to playfully accuse me of having a "harbor ho"...

Now she knows its only a rental arrangment.

Ksanders

Harbor ho to funny

I thought you all would enjoy it! So Kevin, no runs to Kodiak?

The admrial says I can go to Kodiak.

I can even go to the stripper boat.

There is a cost associated with this...

HALF

Harbor Ho, former Heave Ho now settled in one location. Not to be confused with A Tally Ho which is a former Wagons Ho now shoved off.

Of course totally unrelated to Ho Ho Ho. They be just triplets on the same career path

Or you could have a gung ho boat ho

Ha My admiral didn't even have to say anything! She just pointed to the cement tennis shoes, with a place circled on the map of Prince William Sound's deepest hole....2400ft.......

That was a good comment, "crab boat" takes on a whole new meaning!

Or, "the deadliest catch!"

Didn't there used to be one in Port Canaveral for a short time around 15 years ago?The "Buoy boat" was a phenom for a while.

Wifey B: You dudes sure have tough wives if you're telling the truth. I'd go with my hubby. But then he can see more than that on the beaches where we live. Still an interesting concept to have a stripper boat in Alaska. Cold job. But guess not much competition. And there are long dark winters.

So, just asking you dudes. How would the admiral feel about walking along South Beach? There are some excellent restaurants there.

Down here in Florida, where international water is only a short ride away, we've had gambling ships that operate just offshore. I wonder if you could get away with a boat named Madam?

Big whoop! Back in the 30's the mob owned a gambling casino/bordello ship called the Rex. It was anchored off Los Angeles and turned quite a profit until it was raided and put out of business by the local "bluenoses."

There's a couple of those boats in my marina. Not commercial ventures. Always a pleasure to run across them when they're anchored out. Just another reason to invest in high quality binos.

Upon further research, I found stripper cruises in Miami, San Francisco, Los Angeles and Sydney, Australia. Still seeing it in Alaska does stand out as unique I think.

Not florida, but Hawaii...

My wife told me once it was ok to breath again. :)

Another time she told me to quit drooling.

Now she just says "only in your dreams" or "foreplay is when she's running your Visa card"

The original broadcast did mention the issue of alcohol that has come up now. Also, for there was a sign saying "No alcohol beyond this point" at that time.

I would say this, the city better tread very carefully on this enforcement action as if he prevails it could turn out to be very expensive for them. A previous sheriff of Broward County (Fort Lauderdale), once cost the county over $350,000 in trying to prevent the sale of thong bikinis.

Years ago my Dad used to joke about getting together a big boat load of hookers and do the rounds of the offshore oil rigs in the Gulf. Tie up to a different one each night, now that would have been a real money maker!
