For sale slightly used in my Son's old boat this is an excellent unit one step down from the top of the line 1 watt all in one Wave WiFi unit.
The performance characteristics of the EC-AP-ER model are as follows.

Bridge: Receiver sensitivity (RSSI) from -55dBm -80dBm supporting 20-12Mb/s downlink speeds
Bridge: Receiver sensitivity (RSSI) from -85dBm -90dBm 11Mb/s
Bridge: Receiver sensitivity (RSSI) from -90 dBm -111dBm 2Mb/s
Bridge: Antenna connection N female N female to marine grade 8-13dbi Omni external antenna (antenna not included)
AP: Transmit output +24dBm (250mW) +24dBm (250mW)
AP: Receiver speed vs sensitivity 20-12Mbs at -55dBm -83dBm
AP: Receiver speed vs sensitivity 11Mbs at -84dBm -89dBm
AP: Receiver speed vs sensitivity 2Mbs at -90dBm -93dBm
AP: Antenna connection RP-TNC female RP-TNC female (rubber ducky included).
DC operating voltage 12 volts 12 volts, 12vdc cable and power connector supplied.
Power consumption 25 Watts avg 35 Watts total power consumption at 12vdc
Range of suitable hot spot up to 7 miles with suitable marine grade external WiFi antenna and LMR400 cable. (I will provide a custom made LMR400 antenna cable you supply a locally obtained Marine Grade WiFi antenna. I have found realistic range is more like 1 to 4 miles using a 12dbi marine grade WiFi Omni antenna.
This unit comes in the NMEA4 enclosure and includes the Bridge unit, a single CAT5 weatherproof connector to install to a switch or wired computers, it has a built in 250mw 802.11b&g Access Point for wireless distribution inside the boat. It comes with the 10 favorite systems option. I'll include a 1 year factory warranty and everything needed but the external marine grade WiFi antenna.
Dealer cost in excess of $1,100.00. An identical unit currently selling on E-Bay (by other's)at a highly discounted price fetch $1459.00 This is not my ad just an example of the identical unit.
Wave WiFi EC AP ER Extended Range WiFi Access System w Access Point EC AP ER | eBay
I have a slightly used Wave WiFi EC-AP-ER for $800.00. Its condition is a 9 out of 10 w/ 1 year factory warranty. This was used in my Son's old center console boat mounted inside the electronics overhead console under a fiberglass T top.
I accept all forms of payment. This is a personal sale not being sold as a dealer for the above.
This is by far the easiest WiFi unit you can install in your vessel. You don't need to be technical to test for available access points and Hot Spots or to connect to them. It uses a graphic user interface browser based system to scan and connect the bridge unit to the CAT5 Ethernet interface or the built in access point. The built in access point works with Smartphones, Tablets, Laptops & Desktops. Supports all popular security modes and works extremely well with any CableWiFi Alliance Member including Time Warner, Xfinity or Cox Communications public WiFi Hot Spots. This is a personal sale not a dealer sale.
