Yesterday, we applied the 3rd coat of paint to the transom of our CHB.* Did a coat a day for 3 days.* Will tomorrow be too soon to apply the lettering?* The transom turned out so good, better than we had expected, given our newness to rolling and tipping, but overall it looks super and* don't want to damage it, but hubby is pretty excited about getting the name put on.* Any comments about this would be sincerely appreciated.

I would give the paint at least a week to cure, assuming the weather is decent.

Yep, I would wait a few days too. When you apply the letters you have to press firmly with a credit card or something like that to squeeze out the air bubbles. If the paint is not really hard you risk scratching it.

well it killed me to walk away from it, but I did and we won't be back to the boat for two weeks. It'll be good and cured buy then. Thanks for your help.
