We were dock near these folks at EssKay Yards on the Erie Canal, just west of Lake Oneida. Heard they were going to the Oswego Canal, then on to Lake Erie via Welland. I can't believe they can get this far west with their air draft, but here they are. MV Chanticleer, 107', paid crew, oversized everything. The engines of his generators are bigger than my main propulsion. What ever floats your boat.

There is a German fellow ( from another forum) that was bringing his boat over from Europe this year to do the loop. Perhaps this is him. Do you recall the registry?

Hey now the motor on the generator on our boat is almost bigger than our Main engine and it does burn more fuel than the main
