It's a little like Willy and I can see you making the connection.

This boat is considerably more efficient than Willy. Six feet longer and w a WLL that's close to 8' longer she will be considerably faster. Possibly about the same wetted surface. She'll require about the same power but has 1.5 times as much as Willy. Overpowered as are most boats. But this hull possibly could be driven past hull speed so she may not be overpowered at all.

Looks like a real good buy at $50K and a shallow draft sailboat should be desirable in Florida.

Yesterday we sighned the papers and bought our first (and probably last) boat.
It's a Tarquin Trader 44 ft, tri cabin, builded on 1981. We are planning to do all the restoration work, & next year to see it sailing. First, we are thimking to face all leaking and deck-teak problems and then proceed with the interior. This forum, seems to be the best way to find answers in any Kind of eventual restoring questions & proceedures, so I would like to thank you for the knowledge you already deployed here.
