Blue Sea ACR connection?

I know that in retrospect this question is going to sound really dumb.

When the face snaps onto the base there is no provision for cable to enter. Is one supposed to snap or cut a hole on the casing?

Seems weird.

Yes. The cover is scored so that you snap off either the side or the bottom depending on how you want the wire to exit.

Thanks Ken. I figured that had to be it but it seems so solid I hesitated to take a pliers to it.
