Nordhavn 46 with crows nest anyone?

The friendliest place on the web for anyone who enjoys boating.

No thanks. Besides, the view from the foredeck is great.

. . . . . , but Mark, think how cool it would be to be up in a crows nest wearing your thong, and cruising around San Francisco Bay.:hide:

Geeze, Don. Isn't it enough that Mark still climbs his mast and tans while standing on the radar?

Talking of going up the mast. A friend was navigator on an 80ft maxi in the recent Sydney-Hobart race. In 45-50 knots and rough seas, a crew member had to go up the mast to disconnect the mainsail and attach the storm tri-sail. That`s heroic.
(Owner deserves a blast, vital to have a working system, it is compulsory to have, and show you have, an orange colored storm jib and tri-sail onboard).

The N46 is my favorite boat and I revel in the fact that my little Willard 30 is remarkably like it. This one was in Craig Alaska when I shot it.

Wow, I love this pic! I like that, nice and clean no paravanes or crow's nests.

schwewww, that is some sweet nautical eye candy there.

Here's a pic of our friends 46 in hone boat parade a couple years ago.
