Cool Boat

I thought this was a really interesting "expedition" type boat. It was parked at the mega-yacht dock (pier 27/29) at America's Cup Park. Lot's of toys. I think the tender launch set up is really cool. Slip/dockage fees were running about $30,000 a day. The boat behind it is Athena. KJ

Nifty fenders! Can't believe the claimed $30,000 per day berthing. That's about eleven million dollars a year!

That was for the A-Cup races. The rates were somewhat less for the Louis Vuitton Cup. KJ

One of the deck hands we spoke with said the transom drops down and becomes a ramp for launching/retrieval.

She charters for about $280K -- a week! However, you have to provide your own helicopter. KJ
