Well a year ago when we bought Airswift I didn't know what a cowl vent or dorade box was but thanks to the good folks on TF I learned. I asked at that time because I thought the manufacturer had cheaped out with the pvc plastic, flexible cowl vents and wanted to upgrade. Well a whole bunch of other projects took precedent but I came back to it and found some on the internet and just installed them. I like boat bling (shiny stuff). How about you?? Any bling you want to show off? Here's the old and the new.

Put a bowl of spaghetti in the middle and you'll cause quite the stir when people mistake your boat for The Flying Spaghetti Monster in all His Noodley grandness trying to disguise Himself as a boat ;) :D

Looks great, Allan! Sure brightens up the bow!! Nice job on the boxes, too.

Nice! But I'd like a larger drainage hole in case those cowls get a big "gulp."

I hear ya, but in these waters we don't get too many big gulps but they do have a thumb screw inside and can be turned backwards if it gets really sloppy otherwise they just feed us some air.

I like an understated bow and not a lot of "bling." (Anyone who knows me or has been on my boat knew this was coming.) :whistling:

Walt, you embarrass most all of us with your boat's shiny stainless steel and spotless exterior (and no doubt the interior is on the same level.)

Mark: My interior doesn't hold a candle to the photos I've seen of Your boat. I'm embarrassed as to how my interior looks. No joke!

This is as close as I can come to bling for now. An oldie but hopefully a goodie. Now, where is that Brasso?:banghead:

... because I've kept hidden the greasy spots on the Coot's rugs.

Looking good there, guys! Bling is good.

This is the best I could do.

I'd have you all beat if it were my boat.

I saw no greasy spots on the Coot

Re-inspection(and Italian food) in Pittsburgh is definitely in order :socool:

You were blinded by the woodwork.

You were blinded by the woodwork. (And Pittsburg, California has no "h" in it!)

Scroll up past Mark's woodwork to Bligh's post with all the gorgeous girls, and check out the Avatar and Bligh's son.

That father son talk may be sooner than you think.

No doubt there are sufficient "properly fitted" PFDs for all personnel aboard. Most likely in the locker next to the one holding all the fishing poles. :whistling:

That's too good. I hadn't noticed his expression until you said that.

Aren't they wearing their PFDs?

Sure are a lot of rod holders on that boat.......
:D:D:D I don't know if I should laugh or be embarrassed for that comment. (I've given it some thought and I'll....:rofl::rofl::D:D:blush:) I'm sorry but that's funny!

It's all the "Hold-Hers" that interest me...

Enough to blow up the picture 200%!! :D
