This software was installed on the boat by the previous owner. I have gone through the online tutorials and have found the software intuitive and easy to use. However the orientation of the boat object is curious as it seems "off". If I head to a known landmark or navigational aid, both the heading line (from the boat) and the range bearing (using the mouse) on the screen seem correct and are "magnetic" rather than true, when tidal drift is absent. This is also confirmed with my iNavx software on my iPad. However the orientation of the boat varies quite a bit and seems more than could be explained by the vessel compass deviation (which I have not yet determined). Does anyone have any thoughts on how this may be calibrated or adjusted? It's not clear how this may be achieved from the on board help guide.
