as a new member to the forum, I am already learning lots.
I am looking for a 30ft trawler..so far have been interested in the Sundowner trawlers..does anyone have any good or bad things to say about them?

Hi Bernie

We're in Kitimat on BC's north coast, so not quite in your neighbourhood. We've had our boat for ten months now and have no major complaints. Solid. Sensible. No expensive inessential stuff.

The only complaint I might have is how dangerous it can be to get from the pilothouse to the foredeck in even slightly wavy conditions...will be adding additional grab rails soon. Oh, and the teak decks are getting kind of tired...
