Adriatic Voyage and Delivery Home

We had a great 340 nautical mile delivery south down the Adriatic sea to get the boat from its previous life -stranded on hard stand storage where she had been for a few years - to her new life with us being used as she should be.

nice story. I noticed that you left from Lignano (or close by).
Do you know any thing of that area?
In 18 months, I should be in that area and am thinking of wintering over in that area as I have friends who have an apartment in Lignano Pineta.

Hi Richard,
I don't really know a great deal about it other than what I experienced in the three visits whilst the boat was there.
I didn't really look around much at the sights and it was out of season when I was there, but I can say the marina I found the boat in was very well organized, reasonably priced and clean. They have a very large hard stand facility but not many wet berths.
If you need any specific information, I am happy to provide answers if I can. I have the contacts of the marinas if you need them.
