Well, Vietvet....I'm most especially glad that you survived that crazy Asian war and feel up to trawlering. Be sure to make the search for your boat a big part of the fun. Start looking and getting aboard anything you can. Rent a trawler. Heck, right down there in Green Cove Springs (the old Navy Yard) you could rent a fat ole Great Harbour and cruise the St. Johns. No worries, since the river is 2 miles wide in a lot of areas. Talk about how you would use the boat, find a broker you like, share your thoughts and listen to his or hers, but don't allow someone to sell you on the first thing that gets you excited. Get as many of the details and equipment that you want to begin with, cuz adding them later will cost you. Good luck.
