What in particular?

It was really good.

You will know what "wooden ships and iron men" is all about - :)

I watched it...still....anything in particular that it was a "must watch?"

All of it from beginning to end,the skippers dog,how he pulled 2 guys back aboard by their hair, how he describes safety, the ship, the way the narrator still gets worked up talking about it,I thought most boaters would find it interesting

Irving Johnson was a legendary figure in sail through most of the 20th century.
Any boating lover unfamiliar with his story would be well served to check it out.

I had the privilege to first see this video while crossing the Drake Passage, returning from Antarctica - essentially in the same waters where the rough seas were filmed - what an experience!

Apparently this is the only movie record of a genuine passage of a commercial sailing ship.

Reminds you have easy we have it. I’m scared just going up a 65’ mast in a moderate seaway in a boson’s chair. Can’t imagine reefing the royals in a storm.
