Trawler Westbound through Panama

Hi folks,

We are considering transiting the Canal in 2023 and casting a net to see if there are any other trawlers looking to do the same. We would like to engage in early discussions for planning purposes.

Westbound? You may want to clarify that as the canal is on the part of the Isthmus that would see a west bound boat going from the Pacific to the Atlantic. Is that your intention?

Pretty sure FA means from the Caribbean, heading in a generally Westerly direction to the Pacific.

We are planning on transiting the Canal in the Spring of 2024 from the Pacific Ocean, using whatever heading(s) or course(s) it will take during the transit in order for the end result being to arrive in the Caribbean, without circumnavigating the planet.
