Before anyone else says it, i gotta say “Nice boat” but I don’t see any engine room pics! Everybody I know with a GH loves to show off their sea chest and orderly plumbing & wiring. Is the genset a rust bucket! I understand these boats cruise fine on a single engine. You do have two, don’t you.
 
Sorry, I was advised that the washer/dryer pic was more important than the engine room... 2 engines, 2 rudders, 2 anchors, 2 windlasses, 2 heads, 2 chartplotters, 2 battery chargers, 2 Racors (for each engine), 1 Admiral

I have seen this boat, circled it in a electric Duffy they rent at the marina. Nice boat! When I saw you anchored out in front of the park, I thought that much be ideal. I think I saw it over under the covered dock as well? It looks like you are now at the other marina nearer to the Yacht Club building. Is the slip available with the boat?
 
Hi Adopo, Yes, that's us. There were 20 GH37's built. One was destroyed by arson and the other 19 are alive and cruising. St Petersburg Municipal Marina has 2 GH37s in residence. Our slip overlooks the sailing school basin and downtown St Pete. Not sure if the slip will transfer, that Marina rule keeps changing.

Is there a generator?
 
Yes.

Northern Lights M753K-8KW, 66.7A @ 120VAC = 8000 watts, diesel, ~4400 hours as of Aug22. Oil analysis completed at end of Loop, Dec21, perfect.
We were surprised how little we used the gen on the Great Loop; ~50 hours over 10 months. We anchored a lot, ~70 nights.

The large house bank met our needs for the first 24h on the hook. We’d run the gen if we stayed on anchor a 2nd night or longer at the same anchorage. In that case, we’d run the gen for ~3h to recharge the house bank to ~90%, make hot water, do laundry and cook dinner. Absent shore power, the gen is required for two of the three ACs and for the clothes washer & dryer. Everything else can be run from the inverter and 1085 Ah house bank and Victron Inverter.

Twin 120 Amp Balmar alternators recharge the house bank underway.

The Pilot House AC can be run off the house bank and inverter underway, while the alternators keep the batteries charged. Since 9 of the 11 Pilot House windows open, we did not find the AC necessary underway.

Roll & Tip

The green and the white paint on our Portuguese Bridge was the most faded on the boat.

Between Named Storms, we rolled & tipped, and had great results.

Materials and advice from Jamestown Distributors.

We have taken the boat off the market for a couple months while we enjoy the holidays with family and some FL cruising.

Knot Fast is back on the market with a new price, $324,000.

We had a fun holiday season and land travel while the boat was off the market, but it is great to be back aboard and enjoying the St Petersburg sunshine. Knot Fast can be seen in St Pete in February and may be cruising South FL in March.

Knot Fast has a powerful Bow Thruster – Imtra Side-Power SE 130/250 T, 24V, Twin Prop, 352 lbs. of Thrust, 8.7 hp, Ignition Protected. It will spin the boat.

No stern thruster. With two engines/props/rudders, you can control the stern without a stern thruster.

Using differential thrust, rudder displacement and bow thruster, I can drive the boat sideways in winds <12 kts. Which is really fun to do!
