Doing the loop. We are looking to stop this fall and put the boat on the hard for the winter. October thru April. Somewhere prior to the gulf. We will return and travel the Fla coast and east coast back to Ct.
Looking for marina recommendations.

Not clear as to your route and timing but inside heated storage on Lake Michigan is already full with long waiting lists. I've checked up and down both the Wisconsin and Michigan sides. Also expensive...almost $9.00/square foot in some places. Many prior year looper boats are still sitting in (clogging) buildings from the Covid years, and now fuel prices. If you're OK with outside or even unheated inside you can probably find something. I'd plan to move well south of Chicago.

To Clarify: Looking for something within 100 mile of the Gulf.

Hey Dcbeach - did you find a place to store for the winter? Do you have any concern over being 'in-state' over the (typically) 60 day limit? We're thinking about doing the same thing when we loop in a year or two.
