Trim tab problem…they don’t work…at first it was a corroded ground. Then after inspecting the wiring closer…it is not wired the way that is commonly expected. At one time it worked this way…but not now. What to do…cut and re-wire as expected? The motor and solenoids open and close but I cannot test the blue wire to bring the tabs down. What’s my next move…any thoughts or experiences would be appreciated. The blue wire is directly attached to the motor…what am I missing?

You are correct the blue wire energizes the motor in forward to pump the tabs down. The Yellow does the same in reverse. Red and Green are Port and Starboard solenoids.

To move a tab the motor must turn and 1 or both valves must open simultaneously.
