Lehman Mechanic Southeast Michigan

Can anyone recommend a good mechanic in southeast Michigan for Lehman marine diesels? Any help would be appreciated! Thank you, Bill

Rich, no real problem. I am looking at buying a boat with SP275's and was wondering if there a good mechanics near me if I run into problems. It seems as though Cat, Volvo, Detroit and others are covered, but I am not seeing anyone who is expressing a specialty in Lehmans. I suppose one could conclude that any good diesel mechanic should be able to handle a Lehman as they are pretty straightforward engines. I am also led to believe that the SP275's are not your typical Lehman and have some specific fueling needs amongst other specifics. I had a nice talk with Brian at American Diesel. After this talk I felt as though I would like to work with a mechanic who has experience with this engine. I might not get what I want here, but it is worth asking.

I have found that asking Brian for advise and then telling a good diesel mechanic that I was satisfied. It may not work in every instance but it will work for most issues. What boat are you buying? Of course, we will need photos.
