The At34 I own have a modified hard chine. I suspect a steady or standing sail would not benefit my boat. Plus the mast would need support. The mast would be aft of the stack.... That would mean the mast would pass through the center of the saloon and down into the bilge unless it was deck stepped then, I wonder if the upper deck is strong enough for a deck step. Because the boat was not designed for the strain of a mast.... I just dont think it would work.
