Hello everyone.

My wife and I have been discussing the idea of spending some time on the water. We have just entered our 50’s and are planning to spend the next few years learning everything we need to know about it. Ultimately traveling the loop in a Trawler!

Any advice would be treasured!

AWW, just kidding.:) Welcome, and I hope you enjoy the learning experience. Have you checked out the various boating courses available both in-person classes and online?

Where are you located? In-person courses are more available where there is significant boating going on.
 
We are currently living in the Mountains of Western NC. Before that we were living in Eastern NC for 8 years. That is where we began thinking about getting into the boat life. We definitely want to spend some time in training. We are about 4.5 hrs from the Myrtle Beach area.
