Surveyor recommendations for Vancouver Island

We are looking for recommendations for a marine surveyor for central Vancouver Island. We are selling "Yukon Ranger" and will be looking for something a little bigger. We are hoping to buy something nearby, maybe even another Ranger Tug?, and would appreciate hearing your experiences with a local surveyor (good or bad) for when the time comes.

I am reasonably sure he is now retired, but I really liked Ken Rorison as a buyer's surveyor. Very thorough, and I found him to be a good guy as well.

Thanks to all of you for the info. As we get closer to selling our boat and shopping for a replacement, I will continue to research these.
Always good to have my own background research to compare when the broker hands me a list of his favourite surveyors.
