Hi all,
Cape Dory 28 trawler owner here with Hull #001 with a question…
Does anyone have any idea if there are templates available to have new windows manufactured?
Any replies can be sent to my email address which is pauliemv@comcast.net

If existing windows are still intact and templates are not otherwise available, an identical currently installed window could be removed and used to make a template. I did that successfully many years ago, making a port-side window from a starboard-side existing window, by reversing the glass to make the template. It may be your only option in this case.

I don't know anything about the cape dory, specifically. But, on a lot of boats one can remove the trim ring or clamp ring on the inside and trace the template from there.
