Hello all,
New to posting, so pardon any mistakes!
I just acquired a 1981 Californian 34LRC and need to replace/repair 3 of the 4 port lights. I’ve scoured the web for replacement or original of the same size and haven’t found anything close! Any ideas?

Why do they need to replaced? They can often rebuilt. At least those in my 42 Californian were cast metal vs plastic or extruded aluminum.

Unless there is a reason, my first choice would be to replace the gaskets and any bad threaded posts and knobs. Pull off and rebed if needed. Etc.

We have a 1982 34 LRC and replaced our portlights years ago with Pompanette passage series portlights. We did need to make the cut out larger and could not be happier. The amount of airflow is considerably greater than the original. Wish we would have replaced them sooner.

There have been many threads discussing this topic. I did a search and found these 4 first. There are many more so if it's not here, it might be in one of the other search results threads.

Newfound Metals seems to be popular and well regarded.

Mark Plastics did a bunch of stuff for my old 42' Californian, including the long sliding windows in the aft cabin.

Thank y’all!

Thanks for the great replies. I can move forward with the info!

Do they open from the inside or outside? Can they be left open when it rains?

The portlights open from the inside and cannot be left open when it rains. They also have screens that attach on the outside (not shown in pics).
