I use an oil designed for transmissions with internal friction clutch. Look for a oil with a Cat T04 rating. I use a 30wt AMSoi Synthetic Powershift Transmission Fluid SAE 30
Product code : CTJ05-EA
Look for oils with the following rating.
Allison* C-4
Caterpillar* TO-4
Dana* Powershift Transmissions
Komatsu* KES 07.868.1
ZF* TE-ML 03C
there is a drain plug on the on the bottom end of the unit to drain and a removable fill port on the top. Check oil level with engine idling out of gear
