SF arrival . Slip at Jack London Square. Found hydraulic leak. Day sail in SF bay. Work started on steering repair.

Hi, we didn't use the sails much at all. It was really calm or the wind was right on the nose the whole trip. The boat was quite 'rolly' with no sails up and a small beam sea.
Photos are great.
Thank you for posting. How nice to SEE that voyages can be quite pleasant, and it’s not all gnarly all the time, as so many armchair captains report.
To the “adventurers” who regularly write tens of thousands of posts about their trips, yet can’t be bothered to take one (1) photo have ZERO credibility with me. Look: real boat, real people, real places.

Regarding gnarly sea state trips...
People make choices when to leave port. Often times they leave port not because the weather is great, but because it's "good enough" and that leads to being at sea in rough weather.
If you have the time and patience you can go anywhere along any coastline, in almost any boat in comfort.
