Any ideas why the hoses on the port side have no pressure when the engine is running at normal temp?

I didn't have time to replace the impeller today, but made some further investigations, based on all the great input I received.

Started both engines: no steam from either; it was a warm sunny...

Not sure exactly what you have in mind, but you should consider that adding more weight above the water line, raising the center of gravity, will affect the balance.
