Its a 50' grand banks and there about 200 sq ft to replace so thats 1500$ of wood I am not so worried about the expansion of the woods I would still use a suitable type wood , Like Red Grandis,...

I have to replace about 200 bft of my hull it came with Honduras mahogany but the best price I can find it is 7.00 I have other option wanted to know if someone had any great ideas for other woods...

I see that the rudder is a good 12 + from the stern. so maybe rudder dosn't make as much diff. as to stern as to prop.

o for got on ebay strainer is 40.00 $ and with the motor is 140.00 If you impellor goes out and you don't have a spare the pump can pump engough to keep the engine cool and you can addjust the flow...

is the strainer size the same size as the threw hull size meaning 1 1/2 valve is the same size as the strainer.
