The way I read it the aft cabin was modified in the recent refit. Thatís why the boat looks different in the 2 pictures.

No they are not. The e and a series weíre retired when the Lighthouse 3 operating system was introduced. They tried to make them compatible with LH 3 but they lacked the needed computing power.

Since you need more than 30 amps on the one circuit Iíd change service to 120/240 50 amp service. That will give you 50 amps of 120 volt to each bus.

If you end up installing a generator Iíd consider a diesel DC model if battery recharging is its primary function. Lighter, variable speed, quieter and more efficient than a AC model.

In my opinion yes. That is how Iím set up. Start bank starts both engines and is charged from port alternator. Starboard alternator charges house bank.
