Defever Passage Maker 40, Ocean Springs Ms.

1973 Defever, Length 40' Beam 13'8", Draft 4'. Lehman 120 diesel, Onan diesel generator, 120-gallon fuel tank, Dual helm flybridge and saloon. Master cabin and fwd. V berth have electric shower, head and lavatory. Four burner electric range in saloon. Norcold refrigerator does not work. A/C is a 10,000 BTU Frigidaire window unit which keeps the entire boat cool without raw water pumps. Windlass anchor system. Pro Mariner battery charger, Garman Echo Map 50S 5"Chartplotter/fish finder. Sitex SP-80 Auto Pilot. New zincs and bottom paint Feb 2022. New thru hulls 2019.
The Osprey is currently ready and able to go out to the barrier islands and beyond. It has always been maintained by diesel mechanic, (Dave Adams of Gulfport Ms). and used. Over the 20 years of ownership, we have used it on a regular basis fishing, traveling to the islands and participating in the annual event "Christmas on the Water". We always thought we should have won the prize for best decoration, but sadly never did. The Osprey is ready to use. The new owner can enjoy now and give it a little TLC later. It is a lot of boat for the money. $35,000.

I’m out of town right now but will return Thursday. I can send additional information then. As far as items that need repair, some of the cap rails need to be redone, about 14 feet. the flying bridge cushions need to be replaced. the fwd non structural bhd at the anchor locker has delaminated and needs to be replaced. The overhead in the V berth is loose. Some of the wood paneling in the aft cabin above the cabinets needs to be replaced. The foundation on one of the fresh water tanks in the lazaret needs to be replaced. Thanks
