You should really add a lot of photos to your post so people can get a feel for the vessel.

We also prefer you put a price on the ad, so folk know the ball-park figure being asked. In fact, we require it. However, you aren't the first to not, and won't be the last to need reminding.
If your time to edit the title or post is past, let me know the price via a PM to me, (just click my name and select from the drop-down menu), and I'll put it up for you.

The price for the '83 43' trawler is 72k. That's a drop from the mid 80's. Updates have been mostly sweat equity, painting, varnishing, rebunging front deck, replaced mother board on Xantrex inverter, new bilge pumps, new macerator for head, new clean water pump for domestic system, filters, oil changes, reg maintenence. All manuals and history of upgrades, services since 1983 in log book. Many spares and full tool cabinet in engine room. Replaced salt water wash down hose and pump. All safety equipment, custom rib with 9.8 4 stroke merc.

New price at 68k, having replaced the starboard oil pan and hoses, 13k job by john pride, inc bowdoin, me-- was painful but necessary. Looking for those bargain hunters?? Was originally in the high 70's...

Possibly what you're missing is reviewing the forum rules for posts related to classifieds. You might want to review those.

Well, I guess that honesty is a commodity not found in your vocab? When there is a leak, I fix it. If there are septic smells, I replace the hoses. I can't pass those fixes onto a potential buyer. But I still want to sell and am aware of the many boats available. Thanks for your concern

I don't keep the rules at my fingertips but I'm sure one of the site admins would be happy to review with you if you reached out to them. But generally classifieds are not a place for discussion, and any attempt to derail somebody's classified is in poor form. You can ask questions to gain information about the item being sold, but comments about price and condition and reliability etc really have no place. People are posting to sell something, not get your opinion on it. If you are serious buyer and have questions, private message the seller.

rules / guidelines

Well said , The new member doesn't say where he's from or what vessel he has. I also think the rules should require your real name, just saying. What have you got to hide?
