2004 Avon 10 ft RIB, 15 HP Honda, Sea wise system and trailer

Finally getting around to selling my Inflatable…

For Sale is 2004 Avon 10 ft RIB, 2004 Honda 15 HP outboard motor, SeaWise Manual Davit System, and Trailer. Details of each are below. All items are stored in my climate controlled garage in the Dallas, TX area.

I received this as part of the purchase of a 45 Wellcraft in 2006. I lived in Annapolis MD at the time, and it (the dinghy) was used very little on the Chesapeake Bay. To keep this short, I moved to Dallas TX area three years ago, and my Wellcraft lives on a freshwater lake now, so I have zero need for a dinghy.

The Avon: Purchased new by the man I bought the Wellcraft from, as was the 15 HP Honda outboard and the Sea Wise system. Officially, The Avon is ROVER 310 RIB, measures 10 ft 2 inches. The previous owner used it very little, and I have used it maybe 10 times in 10+ years… During my ownership, it has only been perfect. Never punctured or repaired, nor does it leak air. The tubes have discolored a bit, the fiberglass bottom has a few scratches, but otherwise it is as new. Comes with air pump, unused patch kit, kit to install an additional seat mount, new Honda fuel tank, Owner’s Manual, and engine extension handle (see fotos). Clear title in my name.
It should be noted that the 15 HP Honda is probably way too much motor for this boat. It moves very easily in the water, so doesn’t need much oomph… That said, if the water is glass smooth and you need a thrill, it can be coaxed to about 30 mph at full throttle.

Honda 15 HP Outboard: Officially it’s a 2003 Model BF15D35HA. What can I tell you? It’s a Honda. Normally one pull start, and has always run perfectly. Always maintained and serviced. I last serviced it in 2018 with new plugs, engine oil and filter, lower unit oil, and new impeller. Less than 1 hour use since. New Honda gas tank and fuel line. Cowl has a few scratches, otherwise is as new.

Sea Wise Davit system: This is the manual system. If you are unfamiliar with this system – please use Google and search for information, pictures and testimonials on this system. Too much for me to explain here. Suffice to say it is and works awesome. All pieces for the dinghy are already installed, everything else is included, as is the installation manual. (see fotos) There may be a few pieces needed for your specific application and they are available from Sea Wise. During my use / ownership, it worked flawlessly. I – seriously – have had more people ask me about the Sea Wise system than the beautiful Wellcraft Excalibur it was attached to…

Trailer: Trailer was purchased around 2009 by me only to move the dinghy into / out of the storage locker at my marina. I bought it at Habor Freight. It has since carried this dinghy from Annapolis to Los Angeles (storage was way too expensive in Annapolis), then to Dallas. Zero issues, and carries this boat easily. Bearings checked and re-packed in 2018. Lights work. Sold with a Bill of Sale.

Contact me with your email for additional photos...

The sale is for all items – I will not separate them.

Asking $6500.00
