You apparently do not understand boat buyers very well. We like to see pictures up front. Would you rather answer a hundred e-mails or the few e-mails of the truly interested after they have seen your pictures. Good luck. I, for one, would never contact you for pictures regardless of my level of interest in your boat. Far too much trouble, lots of other choices.

Reminds me of the broker who wouldn't let me see the boat before I made an offer.

Who urging posting pics is actual potential buyer, not gratuitous adviser? The truly interested can request and receive pics. How hard is that? All those bothersome keystrokes! Any of you done so?
And if no pics affects selling,so what? It`s the OP`s choice. Privacy may be important.

Look, Bruce, I was just trying to be helpful to the guy selling his boat. Sure, it's his choice and I think we all respect that. What I don't get is the idea that posting pictures is a privacy matter. What is a privacy matter, for the enquirer, is sending a direct e-mail to the seller. Yes, it's only a few ketstrokes but, human nature being what it is, many truly interested buyers will simply by-pass an ad with no pictures and move on. That is just plain fact. If the seller wants to limit an already small market by not posting many, high-quality photos which, by the way, demonstrates pride in ownership up-front, then, well, he has made a choice that is his right. As I said, good luck with the sale fella.

There is another 2000 Monk 36 for sale in Daytona Beach. Maybe the pics for that boat could be reviewed.

Seems like posting a nice boat at a good price to a boating forum and then asking for emails in order to get photos would be a good way to harvest a (albeit small) collection of valid working emails...
