1984 Rosborough RF-28 Trawler Boston, MA $33K

28' hull. Estimated 31' LOA. Draft of about 3.5 feet. 10' beam.

Engine: Clean, reliable Perkins 4.236 with 3100 hours. Excellent running condition. Many recent upgrades including stainless exhaust manifold & elbow. Borg Warner Velvet drive (~rebuilt 2009).

Dual helm at flybridge, Sleeps 3 adults or 2 adults and 3 children, enclosed head, large open galley, fresh water deck shower, newer cushion covers and curtains (not seen in photos)

40 Gallons fuel, 45 Gallons water, 30 gallons waste

Basic electronics: auto helm, radar, gps, VHF. Major re-wiring since I have owned the boat.

Propex cabin heater, prop cutters, emergency dewatering pump, Remote spotlight, dingy davits, foldable swim platform, and more...

I am the current owner of this boat. I have owned the boat since 2008. I bought a larger trawler in late fall of 2021. Sad to see it go, but I need to sell this boat. This is a comfortable, heavy built, easy to handle, safe and seaworthy trawler. With diesel prices rising sharply, this small single engine trawler is as fuel efficient as it gets. This boat is fully commissioned for the 2022 season and is ready to go cruising.

Spring 2021 Insurance survey reveals no major issues.

Location: Quincy, MA
Price: $33,000.

Hi
She looks like a great little ship.
I was wondering if she is trailerable? Have you ever transported her over land? I know more fun moving her by sea but just a thought.

Unfortunately clearance is an issue (and she also weighs 14000 lbs). I have the boat moved by trailer up the street, but cannot go much further without the flybridge being removed. Trailer clearance is roughly 14 - 14.5' if I recall.
