Seattle Boat Show Requirements

If you plan to attend the Seattle Boat Show, February 4-12th you will be required to:

1. Provide a Vaccine Record Card

2. Instead of a vaxx card you provide the results of a COVID test no older than 72 hours. It would appear that self tests at home will not be accepted. The tests must be from a medical provider and other professional medical care.

3. Wearing of a mask is mandatory.

At this time we don't know if we are going.

IF one had to travel any distance or spend money to do so, why would one go to Seattle and deal with all that non-sense? Seems like a trip to sunny Florida?

Imagine enjoying a boat show with no mask, no one checking papers, no hassles, just the sun, the water and beautiful boats.

Just to stay out of trouble the purpose of the post was to inform folks of the requirements not to start a political debate.

I happen to have a work-related conference in Bellevue next month. I assume those are boat-show requirements adopted by the sponsors or hosts of the boat show itself, correct? Not necessarily state or city? I better do some digging, thanks for the heads up anyway.

I believe the mask requirement is a state wide requirement.

And a nice case of Omicron to bring back home. FL is teeming...

Can we please not use this thread as yet another excuse to take shots? As ASD said, he was simply relaying information which I happened to find very helpful. Can we ever be done with the "you're going to kill us all" insults?

I'm not sure if it's King County rules, state rules, and even whether Bellevue is in King County.... but the norms in Seattle are 1) masks require in all public indoor spaces. You won't get into any store without a mask. 2) Vax proof required to be seated at any restaurant. FWIW, BC is the same.

There is a state wide mask requirement source.
Quote:
As of September 13, Washington state requires that everyone ages 5 and older, regardless of vaccination status, wear masks in indoor public settings like grocery, retail, theaters, and entertainment establishments, and at outdoor events with 500 or more people. Masks are also recommended for everyone in crowded outdoor settings.
Bellevue is in King County
