Thanks Old Dan, I have already talked to the owner of this boat. It's been taken apart and is missing a bunch of stuff to make a good live aboard. It's more set up as a day fishing boat, but thanks for thinking of me! Billy

I suggest you do a computer search. There has to be more available.

No offense ours is not for sale it is part of the family now lol. The old mischief is for sale too but the owner gutted it in a real hack job and it needs to be rebuilt and he is asking way too much for it. Keep googing for them I do it from time to time just to see whats out there

Seems decent. But the price seems a bit high. However it has everything needed to cruise it looks like. If it all works it may be worth it.

3 things.
I dont see a listing for a generator. (how to run the AC while underway or at night)
I personally do like a composting head.
I am not in love with flooded lead acid batteries.

I would upgrade to include a generator and change to AGM batteries and holding tank and head. The cockpit shower??? I guess I could put up a shower curtain.

I first fell in love with a Prairie 29 in 2012 and finally found the one I wanted and bought in 2018 or so. They are few, but worth waiting for.

Yes, a 40 year old boat needs constant looking after; but Ive never been happier.

Good luck in your search

There is a list somewhere on this forum of all Prairie owners....if you were to contact them...who knows....they might be about ready to sell.

Ive walked many marinas and simply asked owners if they might want to sell....you never know who is thinking about it.
